Empowering Papua: TNI Habema Soldiers Support the Imanuel Movement by Buying Up Agricultural Products on Market Day in Mbua

NDUGA - In a heartfelt effort to support local communities, the Infantry Battalion Task Force (Satgas Yonif) Raider 432, a key unit of the HABEMA Operations Command, took part in the RI-PNG Mobile Border Security Operation in Puncak Regency, Central Papua. As part of their mission, the elite Airborne Soldiers 432 actively participated in "Rosita"—a local initiative of buying up agricultural products—on market day in Mbua District, Nduga Regency, Papua Pegunungan, Thursday (02/13/2025).

Traditional markets play a vital role as centers of socio-economic activity, fostering intimate social interactions among traders, buyers, and suppliers. Recognizing this, the TNI Habema soldiers not only contributed by purchasing goods but also ensured security during the event, strengthening their role as both protectors and community supporters.

Danpos Mbua, Lettu Inf Fahrizal, emphasized the importance of traditional market days, which only occur once a week—every Monday from 06:00 to 14:00 WITA. "Traditional markets remain essential for the community, as they serve as primary hubs for obtaining daily necessities such as food and clothing, " he said. "Beyond maintaining security, our participation in Rosita aligns with our dedication to supporting the Imanuel Movement, which promotes welfare and unity among the people of Papua."

Major General TNI Lucky Avianto, Commander of HABEMA Operations, praised the initiative of Yonif 432 Kostrad Task Force, highlighting their commitment to fostering economic stability. "This effort reflects TNI’s unwavering dedication to supporting the well-being of Papuans and accelerating regional development, " he stated.

Through this initiative, TNI Habema soldiers continue to uphold their mission of being professional, responsive, and adaptive in serving the people of Papua.
